A Recipe for Getting Drunk This Fall: FIREBALL + HOT APPLE CIDER
Everyone loves getting drunk in the fall. After all, it’s one of the most beautiful seasons of the year! It means football games, crisp sunny days, the smell of burning leaves and…pumpkin spice everything. And yes – that last one also translates to hot apple cider and shots of pumpkin-spiced Fireball. So what better way to celebrate than with a delicious new cocktail? The fire cider is a perfect fall drink you can make at home using ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen. The best part is you can add as much (or as little) alcohol as you want!
When the leaves start turning red, orange and yellow it’s only natural to want to drink something that tastes like a flame-thrower. With the weather getting cooler and crisper we’re all craving comfort food, drinks and apparel. And there’s no better way to achieve those cozy feels than huddling around a fire with your friends (or alone, if you’re weird, lonely or just not ready to meet new people).
Have you reached that point in the fall where you’re sick of Pumpkin Spice everything? Do you find yourself craving those lazy, hazy days of summer again, but with the crispness of fall instead? If so, we have just the remedy for you. Fireball x Hot Apple Cider is here to save your season.
"I absolutley LOVE their hoodies!"
What you’ll need
1 cup apple cider preferably from a local mill and 2 ounces Fireball Cinnamon Whisky. Whipped cream (optional and fun if you're kinky) Step 1: Pour apple cider into a mug and heat it up. Step 2: Add Fireball and stir until mixed. Step 3: Top your drink or yourself with whipped cream and enjoy!
A note on the ingredients
Fireball is a cinnamon-flavored whiskey that will make any drink feel instantly cozy and autumnal. It’s perfect for making this fall cocktail because it adds a warming spice to the semi-sweet cider and gives the drink a nice, deep flavor. But feel free to use any type of whiskey you want! Lastly, if you’re feeling adventurous why not try adding some apple pie spices? It’s also super easy to do: just mix ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg and ¼ teaspoon of ground ginger. Combine with 1 cup of apple cider, then heat on the stove over medium heat until simmering and the spices are dissolved. Remove from the stove and add in 2 shots of Fireball or any other alcoholic beverage you prefer. Have fun getting drunk this fall with these delicious drinks!
